Limpopo has recorded its twenty-first cholera death, the provincial health department said on Sunday.
Spokesman Phuti Seloba said test results on Friday confirmed that a patient died from the water-borne disease on January 30 in the Vhembe District of the province.
Limpopo's health centres have treated a total of 4,028 patients with cholera symptoms since the cross-border outbreak linked to Zimbabwe and Mozambique began in November last year.
About 63 new cases were recorded over the weekend, with most of them from the Capricorn District.
