A man was arrested for the murder of a Boschkop farmer and his wife in the MNS location in Witbank on Friday, Gauteng police said.Sergeant Miranda Stoltz said members of the psychology investigation unit head offices, the Hi-tech head offices and Boschkop police followed information to a house in the location around 5am on Friday.
Police kept watch on the house and saw a man entering to get his belongings.
Police arrested the man and found belongings positively identified as stolen from the Boschkop Mooi Plaats couple's home on 10 April 2009 in his possession.
The man was also positively linked to the murder on the elderly couple.
It was believed the man had been a disgruntled worker at the farm and was thus motivated to commit the murder.
He would appear before the Cullinan Magistrate's Court on Monday on a charge of murder, said Stoltz.
The 63-year-old farmer was found by his son on 10 April with a single, fatal wound to his head. He was killed while milking his cows. His 60-year-old wife sustained several wounds to her upper body.
